Avoid dragging the magnet across the metal surface. To reposition, gently lift a corner to remove the magnet, protecting the finish of the surface.
Do not place magnets on rusty areas, trim work, deep curves, or vinyl wraps, as these can create air gaps that reduce the magnet’s grip, making it more likely to fall off.
Keep water, dirt, and grit from getting trapped between the magnet and metal surface, as this can cause air gaps and potentially damage the metal’s finish.
